Rooted in Casper. Growing in every home.

Potted plants gathered on a sunlit shelf Hands repotting a young plant Trailing plant in a ceramic pot

Breeder Magic began in 2026 in Casper, Wyoming, where winters run long and windowsills do most of the growing. We are a small team of indoor growers who got tired of pots that cracked in a season, lights that promised lumens they never delivered, and tools that bent on the second repotting.

So we started curating the gear we actually wanted on our own shelves — planters, watering solutions, grow lights, supports, and the quiet essentials in between — and shipping them to homes across the United States.

What guides us

Function first

A pot has one job before it has a look: keep roots healthy. Drainage, breathability, and stable footing come before glaze color. If a product only photographs well, it never makes our shelf.

Tested in real homes

Not in a showroom — in apartments with dry furnace air, low winter light, and curious cats. Our team lives with every item before we list it, because that is where your plants live too.

Quiet design

Good gardening gear should let the plant be the loudest thing in the room. We favor soft shapes, honest textures, and colors that step back so foliage can step forward.

Honest materials

Ceramic that is actually ceramic. Steel that will not rust in a humid corner. Coco coir poles that hold moisture the way the description says. We read spec sheets so you do not have to.

One year, planted deep

Early 2026

Company founded

Three friends, one drafty greenhouse office in Casper, Wyoming, and a shared list of gardening gear that had let us down. Breeder Magic was born to fix that list.

Spring 2026

First 60-product assortment curated

Out of hundreds of samples, sixty made the cut — pots and planters, watering solutions, grow lights, supports, and essentials that passed every one of our home trials.

Summer 2026

In-house testing space opened

A bright room in Casper filled with monsteras, ferns, and moisture meters, where every new candidate product spends weeks under real use before it earns a listing.

Fall 2026

Free care-guidance program launched

Because gear is only half the answer, we began publishing plain-spoken growing advice — free for every customer, and for anyone else who asks.

How we choose products

Every pot that reaches our shop is water-tested for drainage first. We fill it, time it, and watch how the base sheds excess — because a beautiful planter that drowns roots is just decor.

Every grow light is measured for real output at real distances, not the numbers printed on the box. If a panel claims full-spectrum coverage at eighteen inches, we put a meter at eighteen inches and check.

And every tool — shears, meters, misters, moss poles — gets used in our Casper testing space for a full month before listing. Handles loosen, coatings chip, seals fail; a month of honest use tells us which ones will not. Roughly one candidate in five survives. Those are the ones you see in the shop.

Sixty products. One standard.
Picked by growers, for growers.
